- 500g chicken thighs, chopped - 2 eggs - 60g cornflour - Large pinch of salt - 60ml ketchup - 60ml soy sauce - 60ml honey - 12g brown sugar - 10ml rice vinegar - 3 garlic cloves, minced - 5ml sesame oil - 1 tbsp cornflour (to thicken) - Pinch of sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces. 2. Add to a bowl with eggs, cornflour and salt. Mix until chicken is well coated. 3. Air fry or fry the chicken pieces until crispy and golden. 4. In another pan, combine ketchup, soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic and sesame oil. Bring to a gentle simmer. 5. Mix 1 tbsp cornflour with a splash of water and stir into the sauce to thicken. 6. Add crispy chicken to the sauce and toss everything together until well coated. 7. Finish with a pinch of sesame seeds.
