🥗 Ingredients
1/2 lb. to 1 lb. flat iron steak
1 tsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. garlic paste
2 tbsp. butter, split
1 splash of Worcestershire sauce
Kosher salt and coarse black pepper to taste
1/2 small sweet onion, sliced thin
Parsley for garnish
👨🍳 Instructions
1. Let steak come to room temperature, about 30 minutes.
2. Cube the steak and add to a bowl with the olive oil, garlic paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Toss to coat and set aside.
3. Heat a cast iron skillet on medium-high heat. Once heated, add 1/2 of the butter and the steak bites. Cook 2 to 2 1/2 minutes, tossing occasionally. When done, remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the remaining butter and the onions. Sauté 5-7 minutes until softened, then add the steak bites back and toss.
5. Garnish with parsley, serve and enjoy!
