🥗 Ingredients
- 1 kg asado (beef chuck / cut #9), cut into large cubes (we used one large brisket "chaze")
- 2 garlic cloves (whole, for pressure cooker)
- 3 bay leaves "dafna"
- 1 onion, quartered
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
- 2 tsp crushed garlic
- Salt to taste
- 2 ladles of the cooking broth
👨🍳 Instructions
1. Heat a little oil in the pressure cooker over high heat. Sear the asado cubes on all sides until browned.
2. Add 1.5 liters of boiling water, the whole garlic cloves, quartered onion, and bay leaves.
3. Seal the pressure cooker and cook for 45 minutes.
4. Release pressure, remove the meat. Shred with a fork and discard any excess fat.
5. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
6. Add the shredded beef, crushed garlic, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and salt to taste.
7. Add 2 ladles of the cooking broth from the pressure cooker.
8. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until liquid is mostly absorbed and beef is glazed and sticky.
9. Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve hot.
